Your Nth Ramadan
Enter your birth date and see which Ramadan this is for you. The date stays in this browser; the card carries the number alone.
Opening the count.
How the count is made
- Your birth date becomes a Hijri date. By the Umm al-Qura calendar your browser carries, the same one that suggests the first day of the month.
- Ramadans are counted year by year. From the Ramadan in your Hijri year of birth (or the next, if you were born after it) to this year's, once it has begun.
- The card carries the number. Never the date, never an age. Families and scholars differ on when children begin; the age field is only for the second count.
Times are calculated; follow your local mosque for the start of the month and for prayer times.
Every rule is on how it works. The household's timetable and charts are on the pack builder.
